Goal: In early 2011, Montano de El Dorado, an upscale boutique shopping plaza in El Dorado Hills asked for an idea to boost the exposure and traffic to the business establishments during the summer.

Strategy: To design an event that would be fun, safe and attract families within the immediate 10 mile radius of Montano de El Dorado. This event would feature live music, beer & wine garden, local area artists and a bounce area for kids.

Implementation: Our team developed a successful marketing campaign featuring local area sponsors who not only assisted with offsetting a majority of the costs but played a large role in promoting the event through their stores and resources. Additionally, local business owners participation added to the exposure for the event as well as the opportunity for high traffic engagement with the local community.

Success: Second Saturday Of El Dorado Hills was very much a success in terms of exposure to the Montano de El Dorado. The event created such a surge of attendees and parking issues that required us to move the event. Second Saturday of El Dorado Hills continued for a period of 3 years at various other shopping center complexes throughout El Dorado Hills and is pending approval at El Dorado Hills parks.
